Living at the Cape Real Estate
Living at the Cape
The days of the same old boring neighborhoods are over. Now it is possible to find a mix of condos, patio homes, townhomes and single family homes in a single neighborhood. This is not a recent development in Wilmington. After all, living at The Cape began thirty years ago!
The Cape is located less than one mile from Carolina Beach and it is located less than 10 minutes from Money Junction. This sparkling gem offers resort style living in a neighborhood.
The Cape is a gated community that opens onto a neighborhood that contains over seven miles of roadways and somehow manages to pull off being a very tight and close community.
On the one hand, living at The Cape is very much like beach living and allows for a very short drive over Snow’s Cut Bridge to sink one’s toes into the sand while breathing salt air while driving on Freeman Park, or on the beach at Fort Fisher State Park or catch the Ferry to and from a day trip to Southport. Or, load the family or friends into the car and head to the Historic Downtown district to spend the day shopping, dining, walking, taking a river cruise or a buggy ride and enjoy walking the historic sidewalks.
For students or professors, the commute to UNC-Wilmington or Cape Fear Community College will take less than 15 minutes. Taking advantage of other venues such as Tregembo Animal Park, Jungle Rapids, the Children’s Museum, Thalian Hall, U.S.S. North Carolina Battleship, Fort Anderson, Poplar Grove Plantation, and many more will take just a bit longer.
The Cape at Bermuda Dunes offers homes averaging $175,000. The Cape at The Sanctuary offers home averaging under $170,000. The Cape at Tiara Park homes average around $210,000. Many of homes in these subdivisions of The Cape have homes fronting on the fairways of the Masonboro Country Club. This is a public golf course. The Tavern by the Green Sports Bar offers food and drinks to the public, as well.
So, let’s review: resort-like living, practically on the beach, on a golf course, conveniently located to everything Wilmington and water sports, gated community, variety of types of homes and affordable. Did we miss anything? Yes, we did. YOU! Let us correct that by contacting us today!
