This is one of Wilmington’s newest neighborhoods and also one of its up and coming neighborhood.s

Breaking ground in 2008, this adorable community has taken off and is growing by leaps and bounds. It offers a neighborhood has a pool and has its own marina located just across the road, right on the sound.

There are two entrances into Anchors Bend with the main entrance opening onto Eventide.
The main entrance to Anchors Bend is a left off of Middle Sound Loop onto Eventide. The other entrance/exit is from Anchor Bend Way. The neighborhood itself is broken into two subsections called “The Manors” and “The Cottages.”

Once in the neighborhood, there is another traffic circle that brings one to Anchors Bend Way. While driving around the streets, this neighborhood will definitely says “family friendly.” The houses all have front porches on which to sit and greet one’s neighbors in the evenings and on weekends. The roads are wide enough for bike riding or walking throughout the neighborhood.

And, as mentioned, across Middle Sound Loop is the Anchors Bend Marina. It would make perfect stroll over to the intracoastal waterway just for the walk or to head out for a sail. Or meet your neighbors at the pool for some quality family time.

the other venues along Military Cut-off, Market Street and the area’s newest Super Walmart in Ogden.
