Megan Buckland
Originally from Kansas City, Megan moved to Wilmington May of 2021 after graduating from Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee. She earned a BA in Strategic Communications while playing Division 1 collegiate volleyball all four years.
Megan developed a passion for real estate since she was a little girl. She always made her parents and grandparents take her to all of the neighborhood open houses and try to convince them they needed to buy it. Her love for real estate has grown immensely and she is giddy she's living out her little girl dream.
Being a former athlete, Megan's attributes and experiences feed into all aspects of her life, especially real estate. She is intentional, energetic and passionate about all she does. A self-proclaimed “social butterfly”, Megan loves meeting new people while building lifelong relationships. She is constantly keeping up with “all things Wilmington” in order to make her clients’ wants, needs and wishes her top priority.
Wilmington is unlike any other city with its vibrant and historic downtown with a variety of shops and diverse restaurants, its beautiful beaches, pristine barrier islands and as well as family friendly neighborhoods surrounded by beautiful parks with an abundance of recreational avenues. “The Cross-City Trail and new Riverfront Park and Pavilion are prime examples of Wilmington’s continued efforts to bring the best amenities to the people of Wilmington.” says Megan.
Megan currently lives in downtown Wilmington with her husband, Michael and two kittens, Reese and Puff. She loves trying all of the amazing restaurants and has a passion for the emerging local craft brewery scene. Megan's goal is to learn how to surf. She and her husband enjoy walking the Riverwalk, playing beach volleyball at Captain Bill's and eating all the time! Wilmington is one of a kind!
